Get Your Sexy On…

GYSO1

Update:  I Didn’t realize that the spell check option was changed on wordpress…so even though I’m famous for a host of spelling errors.  This post previously…well let’s just say not cute!  But hey…that’s me I let it all out there flaws and all!

I feel that we as woman forget a very magical part of our femininity…and that is knowing and embracing our sexuality. We spend so much time striving, that we need to remember to embrace the soft and gentle parts of our personalities too.

Sexuality is a soft, non-sexual presence…which is the art of being a mystery.  I personally feel that this particular “art” should never be to obvious or overt.  In fact anything done in an obvious fashion is never appealing and that goes for the clothes that we wear and the personalities that we share to the world.

Finding that balance between strength and softness I think that’s what makes a woman unforgettable.

Sexuality is subtle, and here are some ways that you can enhance yours:

Perfume should be worn as trademark (lightly) it’s not about whatever is popular, so find your signature scent today.

Talking loud is NOT SEXY!

Discovering your passion’s in life…and having a strong sense of independence and purpose.

Listening…yes listening…it’s about knowing how make others feel good.

Being well groomed…which has nothing to do with a price tag.  Find what looks good on you, no matter your body type.

Don’t over do anything, if anything it’s really about down playing.  When you try to hard for attention it just appears obvious.

Laugh easy…people enjoy being around those who don’t take life so serious.

Have a sense of style…it’ not about being on trend.

It’s never about one upping the other person…but having a great sense of humor to play off each other…bantering back and forth can be incredibly sexy.

Most important aspect of all is…CONFIDENCE!

We all have elements about us that makes us unforgetable…learn how to harness them-it’s really very intoxicating.

Travel, Create and Learn…

LM1

If you follow my blog…then you know that I have a friend traveling the world.  They’ve been going strong now for about 8 months…and they have 7 more months to go.

I don’t know if this type of traveling would be on my bucket list…but I definitely found something that would be…and that is L/M Retreats!

lm2

First on my list would be L/M’s trip to Formentera, Spain! This is straight from their website:

We’ll spend our days eating long meals together outdoors, learning photography & the art of visual storytelling, and enjoying conversation & discussion with one another as well as exploring all the island has to offer—sailing, fresh seafood, and gorgeous beaches. The villa we’ll call home during the retreat is a few minutes walk from a beach, and tapas, cava, and sun promise to be plentiful.

We plan to allow plenty of down time for reading & writing, napping, swimming, discussions, photo editing, sun bathing & sipping, or simply doing nothing at all. There will also be a watercolor painting class with a local artist, a sunset beach picnic, and a paella cookout.

The purpose of this retreat is to recharge, rejuvenate, relax, and reconnect. Creativity can only blossom if we allow ourselves to be still once in a while; we see more clearly when we slow down & ideas come fresh.

What this won’t be is a hectic, highly structured “workshop”—it’s truly a retreat.

Yes PLEASE!

LM3

Or how about Santorini, Greece

The days will largely be spent painting; lingering over meals together; learning & practicing photography; having group discussions; relaxing at the villa; and exploring the island. This is a retreat devoted to creating community & inspiration over slow food shared, creativity, and intentional discussion all while recharging in this luxurious perch nestled in the hills above the ancient Pyrgos village & surrounded by striking views of the cobalt Aegean Sea.

Run do not walk to L/M Retreats…because some trips for 2017 are already SOLD OUT!

Glass or Teflon Wings…

glass-butterfly

Life is an observation game at times feeling connected and sometimes disconnected.

We go through life knowing that we will encounter lover’s and hater’s.  For those who identify more as the “LOVER’s” of life…then this is for you…especially if you wish to learn how to glide through life!

Having glass wings in life is not a bad thing…yes it usually applies to those who are more sensitive.  But sometimes it’s just about learning how to create a metamorphosis action in your life.

Break-free of owning other people’s perceptions and this is how…in a nutshell:

Radical Self Acceptance…NOT self-improvement!

Appreciation of self…NOT change!

Teflon skin…NOT a Teflon heart!

Charming

Warm

Sincerely care and ask about others!

Perseverance

Follow your JOY!

Most important of all…perfection…is a disease!

LOVE,

Inspire

The REAL Fairy Tales That We Should be Reading…

princess1

What if the fairy tales that we all know so well…missed a very valid point?

That the Princess doesn’t need to be rescued to live out her dreams???????????????????????

Life itself represents so many vast areas of how one finds happiness.  Hopefully by now…many of you see that there is no longer just one way of finding peace and happiness.

Write your own story in life…and if you need a little inspiration pick up Lovelace’s book of poetry on how to embrace life’s needed evolution’s!

Is that a DOME?

geohome6

Yes…these crazy looking home structures were slated to be the homes of “Tomorrowland”.

Many feel they still will be…while others say…they’re already here!

geodome1

These kind of weird looking homes don’t exactly fit into those perfect little neighborhoods you see when walking around a cute downtown area or a clean-cut suburban gated community. But Buckminster Fuller saw the potential is those triangles: With the goal of creating a structure analogous to nature’s own designs, Fuller began to experiment with geometry in the late 1940s. In 1951, he patented the geodesic dome, and while you may not see a lot of on a normal city street, geodesic domes are known to be the most efficient building system available. So, why should you want a dome home anyway?

This post is dedicated to Tom and Mary Hoyer…who I know personally are absolutely crazy about DOMES and were the first to introduce me to these very unique structures!
